Colbert Does Dubya

If you're an American, you definitely have to check this out:

Colbert Does Dubya

It's the whole twenty-five minute C-SPAN clip of Stephen Colbert literally roasting George W. Bush alive at the annual White House Correspondents' Association Dinner.

One of my personal favorites (of his many absolutely brilliant jabs) was Stephen's Monday Tuesday Wednesday Bush consistency thinger.

Another highlight (again, among several) was Colbert's masterful nod(s) to Supreme Court Judge Anthony Scalia.

Beautiful.

Talk about Truthiness, huh? Whoa.

Free Speech.

Use it.

Or lose it.

Same goes for Democracy.

Anyway, predictably, most of the press was not amused with Colbert's indictment of the "Liberal" media -- an indictment which was utterly surreal in its irony -- a sort of multi-level mindfuck-o-rama.

Not to mention the video proposal Colbert submitted to Bush in regards to perhaps being considered for the press secretary opening (tragically filled by Fox (Faux) News's Tony Snow). Yikes. Anyway...

Meanwhile, poking around the spikedhumor.com site (where I found the entire Stephen Colbert clip), I also stumbled upon this classic bit of sublime humor: The World's Funniest Joke from the Monty Python boys.

Enjoy.
